The Stunning New Tesoro Tiles from Walker Zanger are Made of Marble and Limestone—and Hand-Finished with Genuine Gold and Silver Leaf
SYLMAR, Calif., April 11, 2008—The materials, even by name alone, connote luxury and timelessness: Marble. Limestone. Silver. Gold. The orchestration of these materials into breathtaking tiles is an accomplishment only Walker Zanger could achieve, as is realized in its new Tesoro Collection. Truly, each tile in this collection is a hand-made work of art, able to instantly enrich any surface it graces.
The tiles in the Tesoro Collection are created by Italian artisans, who start with the finest marble and  limestone and then etch them with magnificent patterns, to which genuine gold and silver leaf are painstakingly applied. The tiles are then hand-waxed and buffed to reach a lustrous patina.

There are two different styles in the Tesoro Collection. One is clearly traditional in its inspiration, with intricate silver-leaf etching upon a field of dark gray limestone. The other hearkens more to the Art Deco world, with gleaming white marble circles figuring against a hand-finished background of genuine gold leaf. Gold leaf and silver leaf field tiles are also available to add versatility to this stunning collection. The Tesoro Collection represents the crowning touch on a wide variety of interior applications.
