The 12,200SF entry level of Bergdorf Goodman’s 5th Avenue Women’s Store was revamped by Bergdorf Goodman and MNA in 2016. Inspired by Bergdorf Goodman’s Beaux Arts exterior and France’s Art Moderne movement of the 1930s and 40s, the facelift included restoring features original to the 114-year old store, brightening the 1969 chandelier and swapping out the wooden floors for custom designed marble floors from Walker Zanger. Connecting the traditional Legacy Rooms and contemporary Pavilion is the patterned marble floor in custom patterns featuring Bleu de Savoie Dark, Bleu de Savoie Light, and White Venatino marbles, while the Jewelry Display pedestals are made from dramatic Gunsmoke Onyx.
