Such is the case for a recent remodel of a sprawling Mediterranean home in Las Vegas, Nevada. This golf course home, located in the Estates at Spanish Trail, was a blast from interiors-past! The home featured wall to wall carpet and dated faux finishes. With Walker Zanger side-by-side with the developer, we provided design expertise and a spectrum of budget-friendly and luxury finishes throughout the estate.

Capitalizing on the golf-course view and celebrating the indoor-outdoor lifestyle Las Vegas affords was critical to the update of this home. To maximize the seamless flow between spaces and honor the pool access; Walker Zanger recommended changing all main living area floors to a unifying limestone-look porcelain tile, Piedra de Borgogna Terre. This selection guarantees an easy maintenance lifestyle for the future homeowners and honors the property’s flow of interior and exterior spaces. This tile was used throughout the main floor of the home and was even extended up a living room focal wall to create a warm design element that unifies the main floor living space. 

Main floor bathrooms, bedrooms, and office spaces were tiled with Eleganza Manhattan Lexington – this special order wood-look porcelain allows for easy maintenance and expands the en-suite spaces. The barefoot luxury of this product affords for an easy lifestyle choice as all rooms feature an en-suite and outdoor access.  

The new pool tile and BBQ tile continued the home’s update featuring subtle colors – which will stand the test of time.   The new homeowners will experience an extended living space as they flow from interior to exterior space through the property’s large new sliders. Tile design details were carried through to the pool waterline with our Foussana Porcelain.
