When Lisa Slayman of Slayman Design Associates, Inc was charged with creating a modern beach oasis for an Orange County developer, she looked to Walker Zanger to help her source natural stone to complement and withstand the weather of the rugged California coast. 

Designed by renowned architect, Chris Light, and built over 3.5 years by Van Cleve Construction, 2928 Ocean Blvd is a modern beachfront oasis. Positioned on a premier corner lot, the newly constructed residence offers striking ocean views from every room. 

Slayman Design needed to deliver a house with elegant curb appeal well within the developer’s budget. Working with Walker Zanger, we were able to source for the project Alhambra Fino Vein Cut Limestone Brushed Finish in 30”x30” cut tiles. This natural stone features muted tones of beige, which complimented the designer’s palette vision of a modern beach oasis. 2928 Ocean called for a palette that was flooded with neutral colors, lightly fossilized textures, and a touch of deep earth tones.

Uniform background with light brown fossils in parallel alignment. Suitable for wall, interior, and exterior paving due to its uniform and compact grain structure. Sealing is recommended prior to use. Available in Polish, Honed, Brushed, Brush Hammered +Brushed, Sandblasted + Brushed.
