MOSAIC COMPANIES ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT TO SELL WALKER ZANGER AND ANTHOLOGY BRANDS TO ARTIVO SURFACES

Pending acquisition positions high-end design brands for future growth and long-term sustainability

Mosaic enters bankruptcy process to facilitate sale; Company has financing to support operations during bankruptcy

July 8, 2025/ Miami – Mosaic Companies, a nationally recognized leader in the specialty wall and mosaic tile, floor tile and natural stone slab categories, has entered into an agreement to sell its Walker Zanger and Anthology businesses to Artivo Surfaces, the parent company of Virginia Tile and Galleher Duffy, backed by Transom Capital.

Walker Zanger and Anthology have long been held in high regard by the design community, recognized for their quality, consistency, integrity and relationships. Under Mosaic’s ownership, the organizations experienced growth and brand enhancement, maintaining and expanding their storied legacies.

Prior to the transaction’s close, Mosaic will be moving through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy process to facilitate the sale and address potential liabilities. It is not expected to impact Mosaic’s day-to-day operations and is subject to court approval.
