A: Walker Zanger has always been a go-to for me because of their commitment to quality. Their stone selection is incredibly refined – whether I’m sourcing a classic marble or looking for a dramatic statement piece, I know I’ll find options that feel curated and elevated. The variety is also impressive; they offer a range of natural stones in a wide range of colors and finishes that allow me to tailor each project to the client’s personality. I love how organized their showroom is – the impeccable manner in which the stone slabs are laid out makes it easy to see the options. I also appreciate their slab samples that come labeled with all the info; these samples enable me to piece together design palettes with the other materials related to the project.
Q: What first attracted you to Walker Zanger, and how has it become a key resource for your projects? Can you share your experience with the customer service and support at the Costa Mesa showroom?
A: I was first drawn to Walker Zanger for their incredible selection of natural stone and tile. Their materials always feel thoughtfully curated, with a balance of timeless options and distinctive statement pieces. Whether I’m looking for a unique marble slab or a versatile, textural tile, I know I’ll find something that elevates my designs.
Q: After you visited the Costa Mesa showroom, which stone slab caught your attention the most? How do you envision using it in an upcoming project?
A: I was enamored with so many of the colorful stone slabs in the Costa Mesa showroom, one of which was the stunning Amazonite Extra Polished granite slab. I could envision an entire bathroom enveloped in this gorgeous selection, in the shower, on the walls, and even fabricated into a custom vanity.
Q: You had the opportunity to view the new Geometric color being added to the collection this spring. How do you see yourself incorporating this tile into your designs?
A: The new Geometric color is a perfect neutral that can be used with a wide variety of colors, especially earth tones. This tile could be used as a beautiful backdrop behind a vanity mirror in a powder room. It can also be applied as a feature wall in the foyer of a custom home.
